WHO ARE WE?
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on utilizing brain exercises as an intervention to improve cognitive function in those with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. We strive to create an invaluable avenue for intergenerational service, discussion, and collaboration within Purdue's campus and the Greater Lafayette community.
LOCAL INITIATIVES
Partnering with Nursing Homes
We meet with residents in several long term care facilites in the Lafayette area to lead them through math, reading, and writing exercises. These exercises are meant to strengthen the brain and slow the onset of dementia.
Fundraising for Alzheimer's
We fundraise for events, including the Walk to End Alzheimer's, to raise awareness and fund research efforts in the fight against Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.
Education
We educate our volunteers about the progression, signs, and stages of Alzheimer's, to equip them with the adequate understanding to help out residents effectively. We stay updated on new research and discoveries in the field.
